On a daily basis, I play a key role in the growing SEO team at The Wall Street Journal, one of the world’s leading publishers and a pioneer in paywalled content and subscriptions, while publishing trustworthy content readers and search engineers recognize as E-A-T (expertise, authority and trustworthy) compliant.
I work across all WSJ business units such as the newsroom, event sites that are WordPress sub-domains, sponsored content, professional business, opinion, live coverage, China and Japan editions, and audio/video. A key goal is to inspire the loyalty, engagement, and expansion of our audiences – the lifeblood of any news organization.
Sitting at the intersection of Leadership, Marketing, Editorial, Live Journalism, Tech, Ops, and Product, I strive to understand how content travels and how we maximize the discoverability, indexability, and visibility of our content in search, to produce fast and informative content for any users search intent regardless of device or location.
I also produce a suite of reports and dashboards to give actionable insights that inform our leadership and advise on product direction and editorial strategies.
